Era of Care works within the healers' community to provide gentle services to regions requesting care in times of crisis.

Our projects

Healing and Resources for Affected Residents of the CA fires
There are many wonderful, caring dynamic people who have been coordinating healers, holistic health providers, supplies and related needs for the fire victims. Era of Care is committed to tracking and supporting the healing needs in the aftermath of this tragic disaster.

As with any disaster, this is a fluid situation and  will be shifting and changing accordingly.

Healing Care Kits
An important aspect of this kit is a printed and laminated card with several well tested, effective and easy to follow practices/tools for different experiences such as anxiety, overwhelm, depression, being triggered, grief-stricken and generally stressed. People can follow and try for themselves what works and carry the card with them as a handy reminder.  
If you are a practitioner, service provider in the health or healing arts, or would like to serve in a supportive role, please fill out this form and someone will get back to you.  Thank you!
Era of Care is also supporting the relief efforts through assembling trauma relief and wellness packages.

Water filter/”life straw”
Non-toxic hand sanitizer
Non-toxic disinfectant spray/wipes
Personal non-toxic self-care items (feminine hygiene, soap, toothpaste)
“Care cards” art/photo/blank cards we can write personal words of encouragement on
Nonperishable snack items ( preferably in watertight packaging)
Electrolyte packages such as emergenc-c
Protein drinks and green drink or other health drink mixes
High nutrient/calorie/protein packaged foods (jerky, nuts, etc)

Mosquito repellent (non-toxic)
Pet treats
Animal calming sprays/balms
For trauma (a smaller bag in the packages that will have a self-care tools instruction card)
Traumeel, Arnica, Rescue remedy
Calming tinctures, balms, oils, sprays etc
Supplements for stress, energy, calm

In addition to the listed items, we also need volunteers to help assemble
and donations of money to go towards getting these packages assembled and sent.

​The Village Healing Project
Research on the ground...
What really is "healing" anyway?
How do we cultivate discernment on methods and practices?
How does our personal healing relate to the healing of our society and our planet? 
How do we, as a community, do the real work of facing our shadow
and find effective ways to heal and care for each other?
How do we find more ways to bring us together, to bridge that which has separated us?
How do we attend to the needs of those around us?
How do we let go of our personal ideas and beliefs and meet others right where they are at?
How do we find our "NO" to many of the ills in our world and find our "YES" to the world we want to build.
Come explore the answers to these vital questions with us.

Whew, that's a lot of questions!  But we would like to tell you up front that we don't have all the answers, we just think coming together and asking the right questions is vital.

The Village Healing Project is one form of an answer by creating more ways we can simply just be with each other and offer each other our listening presence.
We do this through pop-up listening posts, community healing circles and more.
Imagine someone coming to where you are in your time of challenge and offering their touch, support or perhaps wrapping you in one of our "healing blankets" .

The healer's collective is a database of people you can call in your time of need.
There will be no set fee, we are inviting the gift economy concept.

The healers collective is invited to attend community events, offer individual support, outreach and travel to places in urgent need.
Some of us will be "eco-healers" and specifically to go to distressed environments.
 

The "Heal Mobile" project 
Imagine a large vehicle where we will serve people with wellness needs or with enough room for small groups and classes in self-care, trauma support, and much more, then imagine this vehicle going to the people and places that normally can't get to this kind of care.
