Great info on what we should be aware of regarding toxics in the environment from the fire
There are many caring people who have been coordinating healers, holistic health providers, supplies and related needs for the fire victims. Our Era of Care network is committed to supporting the healing needs in the aftermath of this disaster and we are assessing where the gaps may be and finding ways to fill them. As with any post trauma event, this is a fluid situation and we will be shifting and changing accordingly. If you are a practitioner, healer or support person, there are many ways to help. Please sign up below or join one of the many group events to get connected! In the aftermath of disaster--our priority is to support those who are experiencing the effects of trauma. Trauma can show up with the following symptoms or changes in behavior: Sleeplessness or waking up in the middle of the night with fear Overwhelming sadness, crying often Numb, feeling nothing, unmotivated Extreme irritability, angry outbursts Overwhelm Anxiety Depression Suicidal thoughts Panic increase in addictive tendencies Check our resource page. Please contact us if you need help finding support admin@eraofcare.net Meanwhile, there are many organizations working to find ways that will support long term needs. Please email us if you want to help, collaborate or have any suggestions. This is a community, volunteer effort, and we are all in this together!
